World Art Day
April 15

According to National Day Calendar, “when humans use their creative skills and imagination to create something in visual form, it is called art. Some of the most popular types of art include painting, sculpting, drawing, photography, and more”. World Art Day, coincides with Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday and is a day to celebrate our local art community!
To celebrate on this day:
- have a custom piece of jewellery created for you at our local jewellers – Aeron E. King Goldsmiths or Peacock Jewellers Studio & Supplies!
- check out Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery, showcasing a variety of mediums from 40 local artists, by visiting the retail gallery and gift shop!
- take a tour and learn about the fascinating lost-wax process used to create bronze masterpieces at Studio West Bronze Foundry & Art Gallery!
- book a class that will guide you in the basics of wheel-throwing clay and hand building, but mostly having fun at Saffron Collective Studio!
