Cochrane Light Up 2019

The 35th annual Cochrane Light Up, is a 3 hour street festival, that sees upward of 15,000 Cochraneites welcoming Christmas to our quaint little town. Historical Main Street is blocked off as local businesses sponsor tables and serve hot dogs, potato chips and hot chocolate to the event goers. There are hay rides, face painting, roaming characters, crafts and so much more. Of course Santa will be there to hear the wishes of the children. Our local food bank kicks off their “Share Your Christmas” campaign and are on site with lit up shopping carts collecting donations of toys or non perishable food donations.
Main Street sparkles with all the twinkling lights and local businesses along the street showcasing what they have to offer. We will wrap up the event by lighting a 32′ tree on the roof of Rexall and new this year, a rooftop Pyrotechnics show accompanying the tree lighting.
