Cochrane & Area Humane Society Fall Book Sale

Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th
We are happy to announce that CAHS will be hosting a Thanksgiving Book Sale! Join us in our Rehabilitation & Education Center located behind our main building from 10am – 4pm both Saturday and Sunday and stock up for winter with some new reads!

Your health and the well-being of our volunteers and staff is a priority. Social distancing and other COVID-19 safety parameters will be in effect. Masks must be worn during the event.

Our book sales typically raise $5,000+ for the shelter operations and with the cancellation of so many of our traditional events this year due to COVID-19, the funds raised from this event will provide much needed support.

Book donations; Donations can be dropped off at the shelter’s main entrance from 12 PM – 5 PM between October 1-6.

We are seeking book donations in the following categories only ; best sellers, new/current novels, popular authors, Canadian authors, teen & children’s books, true crime/psychological thrillers, mystery, animal related books, cooking, sports, biographies, non-fiction, DVD’s & LP’s.
*No textbooks, encyclopedias, atlases or magazines will be accepted.
