Earth Rocks!! Spirit of Oneness
Despite having limited appreciation for rocks and their healing powers, when I visited Earth Rocks I remember feeling unusually clear-headed just moments upon my arrival. At first, I dismissed the sensation as simply having a good day; but when I met store owner, Tara Sue Moore, I became more convinced that the positive disposition may have been more than a coincidence. Moore encountered several incidents she now recognizes as “callings” that steered her towards opening a “rock” shop!
Rich Collection of Spiritual Charms
Today, the shop carries a rich collection of spiritual charms and emblems including dream catchers, Tibetan singing bowls, gemstones, spiritual wall hangings, books, figurines, and much much more. On the surface, Earth Rocks appears to be a retail shop that sells knickknacks to metaphysical enthusiasts. In actual fact, Moore’s main objective is to raise awareness on the holistic benefits and healing powers of her merchandises.
Long time traditions scientifically proven
In today’s fast-paced society where chronic stress has become something we tolerate rather than alleviate, sharing knowledge on ridding our body of negative energy at a wider scale is Moore’s focus. Having left the corporate world some years ago, Moore obtained her certification in HeartMath Education and Resiliency Training® as well as other spiritual healing methods. These traditions have been around for a long time but have only been scientifically proven recently as effective stress remedies. With the help of science, Moore feels even more compelled to share her knowledge as a way of giving back.
Knowing that each person responds differently to gemstones, I asked Moore how one would select a suitable gift. Much like her approach to teaching, Moore would help her customers select the right gift by talking with them and tapping into their intentions. She would then show them how to send well wishes with the gift so that the message can be accessed on the receiving end.
I don’t know if the clear-headedness I felt that night had anything to do with gemstones, but I recall feeling calm, happy, optimistic, and articulate after leaving Earth Rocks. I met with a friend afterwards who commented that I looked unusually radiant when I had arrived. Coincidence or not, one thing is for sure: I cannot deny that something in me definitely transformed that night.
