Cochrane Information Centre

You’ll see friendly faces almost everywhere you go in Cochrane. One of the friendliest is in the Cochrane Information Centre in Historic Downtown.

Suzanne is Cochrane’s full-time Tourism Ambassador and is stationed at the Centre almost every day. She’s been working in the tourism industry for over 20 years and travels extensively, so she knows how to put together the secret ingredients that make a visit special.

Suzanne’s passion and commitment mean you’ll get inside information on Cochrane’s hidden gems and unique features. Looking for local highlights? Suzanne can also point you in the right direction for must-see adventure locations, public art installations, local parks and pathways, and the best places to eat and shop in Cochrane. Suzanne has explored all of them and will give honest answers to any question.

Feeling like a road trip? Suzanne can guide you towards a great day trip to explore the area on your own or customize a multi-day itinerary that meets your particular needs. If you prefer browsing brochures and planning your own adventure, there are lots to choose from in the VIC. Can’t decide? Grab a few that catch your eye and sit in a comfy chair to review them and make your decision.
